Sound Vision Canada is excited to offer a specialized online workshop, “The Art and Science of Quranic Storytelling,” led by public speaking expert Mohammed Maxwel Hasan. This unique skill-building opportunity will provide attendees with the training to better engage learners and effectively convey Quranic stories in the most impactful way possible. The workshop will cover techniques and strategies to captivate listeners and bring Quranic stories to life. Please note that this session is intended to provide instructional guidance for Islamic studies educators, parents, and all those involved in Islamic education (grades K-12). Insha Allah this workshop will be invaluable for anyone looking to deepen their ability to share the profound wisdom of the Quran and inspire others through its beautiful stories. Participants will gain an understanding of:
- The powerful Quranic storytelling framework
- How to engage children/youth in storytelling and teach meaningful life lessons
- How to use one’s storytelling voice effectively
- How to use body language to visually connect the story with learners
