Effective Board Governance
May 2 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDTCAD $55.00
We are delighted to offer specialized training with Dr. Trevor Hunter to help you improve your Board governance skills.
May 2 and May 9
At the completion of the two sessions, you will have gained the following:
- A better understanding of the role of a Board and how it relates to mission and strategy
- A better understanding of how to be a good Board member
- Insight into how Boards should be structured to help an organization achieve its goals
The training is designed as a learning discussion and opportunities to ask questions within both sessions will be included.
We’re also excited to announce a special feature! Attendees will be given a case study to read and consider prior our second session — What’s going on with the Board and what would you do about it? The session on May 9th will allow you to put the learning from May 2nd into practice.
What are some of the issues for your not-for-profit Board? Bring your questions! Dr. Trevor Hunter will share his knowledge, insight, and experiences.
