On Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Sound Vision Canada is pleased to host Sa’diyya Nesar for Accessibility as your Child’s Right: A Supportive Session for Parents of Children with Disabilities.
Join us for this FREE online session and gain insight into:
- The role of parents towards children with disabilities as their first accessibility advocates
- The benefit of exposing children with disabilities to the stories of the Prophets (peace be upon them)
- How parents of children with disabilities can provide access even when there is lack of community support
- Effective ways to address the topic of accessibility to leaders within our mosques and schools
- Comfort through remembering Allah (SWT) and deriving strength when advocating for your child
Sa’diyya Nesar is a TEDx speaker, disability advocate, and author of Hearts that Remember and Strength from Within. Born with muscular myopathy, her work delves on her life with physical disabilities, and deriving strength from adversities.
