Strategic Planning and the NFP Board
August 1 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDTCAD $55.00
We are excited to offer additional specialized training, Strategic Planning and the NFP Board, with Dr. Trevor Hunter to help advance your not-for-profit organization.
August 1st and August 8th, 2023 (7-9 pm EDT)
A few of the special topics include:
- What is strategy and strategic planning?
- What is the NFP Board’s role in strategic planning?
- Tying strategy to Board oversight and operations
- Risk management
In his discussion of strategy and strategic planning, Dr. Trevor Hunter will give a mini-lesson on strategy such that upon completion of the two sessions, attendees will understand the mechanics of the process. By understanding the underlying mechanics, Board members can evaluate the process and activities of their management to be able to hold them accountable.
The training is planned as a learning discussion and opportunities to ask questions within both sessions will be included. Dr. Trevor Hunter will share his knowledge, insight, and experience.
