DESCRIPTION:Sound Vision Canada is thrilled to offer a much-needed teacher training series with the expert\, Abir Catovic. \nIslam is a rich tradition possessing an ocean of information. Educators are invited to\npartake in this learning series to enhance their understanding of various aspects of Islam which\nmay increase their classroom effectiveness. \nWe are offering a five-part series with the third session to be hosted on Nov. 21 at 7 pm EST\, insha Allah. \nRegistration is not limited to the participants of Parts 1 and 2. She began her teaching career while in college\,\nvolunteering at her local masjid\, developing an early elementary Islamic Studies curriculum and eventually\nhelping to establish a full-time Islamic School. She has taught every grade level from KG through\ntwelfth grade while serving in administration as a Religious Studies Director\, Vice-Principal and Principal. Mrs.\nCatovic developed Islamic and Qur’anic Studies curricula for her school’s elementary\, middle and high school\nlevels and created a Prophetic Character Education Program.
